Enjoy sampling offerings from a wide variety of breweries and restaurants and enjoying all the sights at the annual Brew at the Zoo at Franklin Park Zoo on Saturday, August 18th from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Explore the zoo and there will also be an illustrated talk by Michael Reiskind, historian of the Jamaica Plain Historical Society on the lost breweries of Roxbury and Jamaica Plain.
Come tour the Dorothy Quincy Homestead on Sunday, August 19th between 11 am - 3 pm. The earliest surviving home of the Quincy family, this house was built in 1686 by Edmund Quincy and greatly expanded and remodeled in 1706 displaying the evolution of colonial architecture. Eustis Estate Landscape Tours this Sunday, August 19th. Enjoy the seasonal splendor as you walk through the beautiful estate abutting the Blue Hills Reservation and get a new perspective at the Eustis Estate. This one-hour guided tour will explore the fields, woodland, and gardens as you learn about the landscape and history of the property.
