The Friends of the MPL are having a $10 book sale on Saturday, June 13th from 10am - 2pm. There will be a great selection of adult and children's books available!
Join the City of Quincy for a day of free family fun at KidsFest 2026 on Saturday, June 20, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hancock Adams Common! There will be a free New England Revolution Soccer Clinic as well as live entertainment, a petting zoo, food and beverages for sale, and lots more! Check out the details here. Creating Comics From Local History takes place on Sunday, June 14th from 1:00pm-2:30pm at the Forbes House Museum. Cartoonist Marek Bennett will demonstrate how he creates his long-running graphic novel series, The Civil War Diary of Freeman Colby, based on primary source texts and artwork. You'll then get a chance to create your own mini-comics and graphic novels based on historical comics, stories, and texts. For kids in grades 5-8. Ticket information here!
